Was called from this number and offered a Telkom Mobile contract. I've contacted Telkom after a week of waiting for my "phone" to arrive and they have told me that their system shows that I have not been upgraded at all! Beware of this number as I'm afraid that I may have be a victim of identity fraud after giving away my details. Stupid me for believing them, but I actually expected a call from Telkom because my contract is up for renewal and so I didn't keep my guard up when I got this call. Please beware of this number as well as a few variations such as 031 813 8700 etc as these call centres use multiple numbers but the first 6 numbers will be the same - 031 813

I was called by this number telling me they do promotions but I told them to get off because they are involved in illegal debit order fraud. They claim to call on behalf of Telkom Mobile.

Ddducky replied 7/14/16, 3:58 PMThey finally stopped after I spent ages harassing Telkom on Twitter. They made me go to a site where you can supposedly deregister from all promotional contact from anyone. -

Being bombarded by this damn number - Truecaller takes care of it by instantly hanging up, but is there any way to permanently stop this number, like reporting it to authorities etc?
DDDucky replied 6/15/16, 3:04 PMI spoke to Telkom and the best they have done is tell me to unregister from the National sales lists. Not interested in taking accountability for it being a Telkom number or that they say they are Telkom Mobile. Unregistering will take 6 weeks this will not help me as they call daily, if not twice. 13 calls in 2 weeks. -

2 weeks of harassment and voice mails. they will call after hours but when called will say that their offices are closed.

They called me maybe 3 times, and they want my personal details saying they want to give me a discount on data bundles , asking what phone am I using. This is a real scam people. Watch out, don't give out your personal info. They really are annoying.

I get calls from (031) 8138700 all the time & it's now become harassing.Lurisa replied 4/14/16, 10:05 AMDownload Truecaller on your phone, you can block these numbers with this app. You will only get a notification if they tried calling but it wont come through -

Telkom mobile calls about three times a day, i have auto blocked them. The new problem however is that their system automatically leaves a robot voicemail every time. this has literally filled up my mailbox and i cannot get it to stop
