Investigator Whistle blower reported AM Squared Events & Catering S with the number 0762833795 as Trustworthy number
Scammer Alert:
On 17 August 2022 the following so-called organization sent a WhatsApp message to my mobile
phone ordering the rental of x100 Wimbledon chairs for an event on 18 August 2022.
When asked what kind of event they are staging the answer came to......”it’s a "get-together’’.....alarm bell was already ringing as I am well aware that a ‘’get-together’’ is no more
than 20-30 persons in one space.
The person below, willing fronted the following vetting details as their credentials

We quoted them a total of R3590-00 for the rental of x100 Wimbledon chairs.
She signed our agreement letter and much later on the 17th of August 2022 at 18h05 she forwarded
a nearly perfect proof of payment from their “Nedbank” account that the transaction was in process
but immediate clearance was not made. Our terms and conditions stipulate as such that any
payment made within a 72 hour period of activation date must clear immediately into our account
before we take action to respond queuing a query. We were also not given enough vetting time to
clear the new client and order to verify them as a legitimate client to conduct business with. What
we found of them was extremely littler without any presence on social media networks.
The funds never cleared into our bank account and we have enough suspicion that this was a setupcall to rob us from our stock which is valued well over ZAR35,000.00, excluding the labour and
transportation fees that would have gone into the contract to deliver to 25 Avondrust Circle,
Noordhoek, behind Jake’s Restaurant.
On the morning of 18 August 2022, I decided not to react to the call to deliver to Noordhoek as we
were asked to be there between 11am and 12pm.
The client never called back either when the delivery time passed and our notion that no payment
reflected our bank account was the correct response to not respond to the call-out to Noordhoek.

Lastly, we have had similar calls like the above in the past and found that they do call again at a later
time with similar time pressure demands for our rental supplied and not following through with our
terms and conditions as stipulated. They even use the same email and mobile numbers without
shame.
